I had the abysmal experience of interacting with the folks at Indian Health Organization, where we received free membership as part of Standard Chartered Credit Card. The health benefits offered by this organization seem to be only on paper and do not exist in reality. I had a schedule a simple blood test and even after making 7 unsuccessful calls to the customer care team, the test could not be scheduled. None of the customer care reps understand the nuances of bio-markers being tested, provide no transparency on the price of these tests and keep promising discounts that only exist on paper. Also, the customer care team keeps no record of your calls, so, every time I called, I had to provide them address, name, phone details, membership number and painfully spell out word by word - the names of the test and go through the entire procedure of them verifying the price and availability of these tests with their partners. Every single time a new price and new recommendation was given to me by the customer care reps(Call our partner directly and avail discount, go to a diagnostic partner shop directly instead of availing in home service, we will do the booking but cannot confirm the pricing - talk to lab technician and pay him in cash). A simple appointment which should not take more than 2 mins, could not be completed in a day. STAY AWAY from this company. Fraudulent claims, pathetic customer service, zero price transparency, non existent tie ups(as advertised) to partners and overall a poorly managed organization. Was this information helpful? |
