I had enrolled myself on the 3rd of January 2015 for freedom plan. According to Mr. Roshan Patil, who called himself as the Senior Manager of IHO told me that I was to get full tax benefit of Rs 5900 /- since I had paid the full amount. Second thing, he said that the amount is the renewal amount. I am surprised to hear that I would get tax benefit only upto Rs 2950 /- as the first enrollment is my name and the 2nd enrollment is my mother's name. Later on, I realised that I was given a fresh membership and not a renewal membership. On the form, the amount for Freedom plan was Rs 1990/- and I was charged Rs 2950/- for each membership. When asked about such a big difference I was told that the pick up person is not aware about the payment details. I was told the amount of Rs 5900/- is easily available with EMI at 0% processing fee and interest free amount of 9 months option. EMI procesing will be done from IHO end. Post Makar Sankranti I could avail Mediclaim facility for all the 8 members who were enrolled in the Freedom plan by paying an extra amount of Rs 1500/- inclusive everything.Nothing as promised is being done.
Ever since then, I have been calling Mr.Roshan Patil on his mobile number which he had provided at the time of enrollment all in vain. He is too busy to answer our calls. Second thing when I called the customer care with this grgrievance of mine, I was shocked to hear that Mr. Roshan Patil does not exists in the company. The call centre people too are extremely rude and do not know anything about what is happening in the company. Specifically Mr. Yatin who was not able to understand what was I talking about. When asked for the supervisor, just slams the phone down saying the supervisor is not available. My complaint was taken down by a lady who when asked for a complaint number did not provide any number.
I did receive my kit. However with an incorrect name. My name is Sophia Ryan Rodrigues and the name printed on the card is Sophie Rodrigues.
I am very disappointed with the attitude and the false promises made by your representative at every stage. Was this information helpful? |
