Indraprastha Gas Limited [IGL] — High billing and leakage adjustment in bill

Address: Noida extension, Gautam Buddha Nagar

My IGL gas connection installed since 2019 and since then I am paying my bills timely. Suddenly in Aug 2024 I have received a bill from IGL for Rs. 10, 197/- as to my surprise I haven't used the gas so much. We escalated to IGL and upon thorough inspection and analysis by technician when they visited my home, he found and reported that there was a heavy Gas Leakage due to which Meter was running and recorded unexpected units.
I have recently received an email from IGL that only 2399/- will be adjusted after approval from management.
Also, I am being harassed by IGL disconnection team that my connection will be discontinued if I don't pay whereas customer care is asking me to wait until resolution of final amendment of bill revision.
Therefore, I request you to please reimburse my total Bill amount as these abnormal units recorded due to Gas Leakage in my upcoming Bill.
