[Resolved]  ACCIDENT RELIEF CARE (INDIA) PVT.LTD. — Claim not Settled

I have been a Member of ARC from the last 8 Years and have covered my Factory Staff and my Family Members in this Group, My Nephew met with an Car Accident and was admitted to a Hospital for Treatment, The PRO was informed and he told us to collect the Bills and send it to them, so that they will settle the claim in 15 days, The accident occurred in Feb 2013 and the Bills for Rs. 8500/- were sent to them in March 1st week, Now starts the Story.. After 1 month in April I called them up and asked them about the claim, they informed that in 15 days it will be sent, In May I called them up, they said it is under processing and within a week it will be sent, In June I called them up and it was informed that the file is with a Third Party Insurer and it will be settled in 15 days. It went on and on In July I sent my Co- Brother to their office and it was promised and a letter was given that it will be paid on 12th July.. On 12th July when my Co-Brother went to the office, he was informed that only 3000/- will be paid as the other charges like Lab Fee, Hospital Room Fee, Doctors Fee will not be paid, The reason is that the patient was not admitted for 24 Hours.. ( Whereas the Discharge Summary submitted to them 4 months back mentions the Date, and Time of Admission and Discharge.. which is more than 24 Hours) when we brought this to their Notice, then they tried to play saying that lab testing was not required and admission is not required and so on, When they do not want to settle the claims, why they should take the premium, I understand that ARC has gone Bankrupt and on some pretext or other they will dupe the Members and get away, Who will have such a time to keep on following them and going to their office and arguing with them.. I will definitely not renew the Insurance with ARC in future and advise others also to take care while paying to them....

Our company had submitted bills and followed each and every procedure for Claim of an employee who met with an accident to one Mr. Tajhmal Khan of ARC for claims worth Rs.90, 000/- in the month of July 2013. It was told by Mr Khan that it would be settled within 1 month. I have been calling every week and then whenever they asked to call. But now it seems they are a bogus company. Nowadays, none of their employees, staff Officers take calls nor reply to them. This is one of the worst companies i have come across. I would therefore, warn all companies and individuals not to take any accidental insurance with ARC Bangalore. They are cheats... Its almost 5 1/2 months still they say they need time... how much they dont know... This company is a commission based company. Better to insure directly with a company. So people dont get cheated with so called ARC, Bangalore.
