A coupleof days ago, I received a call from this NGO called Jeevan Jyoti Trust. They said that they're helping the cancer patients at AIIMS. They asked me how much I earn and how much I can afford to donate. I gave them a ballpark figure, and then hung up as I had to leave for a meeting. And in the next 4-5 hours, I received atleast 10 calls . When I finally picked up the call, the lady on the other end started emotionally blackmailing me, questioning my conscience. I asked her to mail me the entire thing officially and she kept on trying to persuade me to immidiately make the donation and not get into the details. I have been working for over a decade now, and I can easily sense a fraud. Firstly, they want our hard earned cash to suffice their own needs in the name o[censored]nfortunate children and secondly, they have no sense of language and go to any extent to harass you into donating. This is a serious Fraud and needs to be attended. I request whoever reads this post, to stand against these liers. Was this information helpful? |
