K J Somaiya College Of Arts And Commerce — Refusal to give result for non payment of fees being SC category

While filling form by my son Akshit mural for academic year 2019-20 at K J Somaiya college of arts and commerce for freeship being a reserved category there was a technical glitch and form was not got completed by him. On enquiry with the college staff he was not properly guided and gave excuses by telling how others form got sent and why he can’t do. On repeated visits to the office he found the respective person was on leave or on some other work or something else and it remained unattended by the college. So it took two years during pandemic and even after contacting office staff there was casual reply and they did notbothered to look into the matter. Being a student my son thought college might have solved the matter as there was no reply or notice from college for non payment of fees. After completing 3 years course in BMS while collecting result we have been denied to give result on the pretext of non payment of fees. Even after approaching by me to the clerk personally it was not got cleared or they have not taken this into serious why the form is not got completed by the student.? If it is a Fault by the student department should have contacted as it was not reflecting in college website as the procedure was to send the form from office website for further process to education department for freeship for a reserved category which is their rights to claim the freeship. But neither there was a notice nor a call from the prestigious college like K J Somaiya. Even during convocation day I have been put into default by not listening our problem. As the college staff was not supportive who was handling the procedure my st on approached samaj Kalyan last year. According to them the problem should have been sorted out by the college itself. On the convocation day I. On 8 th May 2023 we again as in visited samaj Kalyan where we have again told by Mr Parab that it is duty of college to solve the glitch or inform to the education department and the last date for filling fees was on 31/03/2022 which was again not been informed to us.

This casual attitude towards parents as well as to the students who comes to such prestigious college is certainly not giving any positive vibes and a good teachings.

This is my humble request to the education ministry to solve this problem as soon as earliest as my son is interested in further studies and without a result it is definitely not going to solve.

I request please treat this genuine and give us chance to pay fees by working on the glitch in my sons college account and reimburse us the same.
