I was interested in hiring a maid for 8-10 hours to support my mother living alone in Bikaner Rajasthan. I saw kaamwalijobs website online and reached out to one of their customer support named Anjali. She said they won't be able to provide a maid for 8-10 hours rather insisted to get a full time maid and pressurized me to opt for it saying that would be better and more reliable. I paid Rs 16520/- in two parts half of it before finalizing a servant and then remaining after that. Anjali sent me the bill and terms and conditions of this contract after the payment and never state any terms before the payment. They charged me 18% GST but there was no GST number mentioned on the bill which I believe is illegal. I did not e-signed any agreement before or after the payment.
After this payment, they sent a servant named Vinit who was abusive and consuming alcohol at my home from day 1. I requested them to replace Vinit within his first week itself as he was not at all trustable person and my mother was living alone. I myself booked a to and fro ticket for Vinit to his hometown Agra in this entire episode.
Now, I messaged, emailed Anjali ([protected]@kaamwalijobs.com) numerous times but did not receive any replacement for the maid. I even checked with her on whats app where she messaged me to start the conversation earlier when I was looking for a maid. She replied that she will let me know once she finds out the replacement. It's been 5 months and we have not received any replacement so far. I then requested to give this replacement to my sister who was also looking for a maid in Pune but she did not help her as well.
Based on the introductory email Anjali clearly mentioned below so I demand my refund.
