This refers to the telephonic complaint filed against Bharat Gas Distributor - Kamadhenu Gas Agency, Kadri, Mangaluru. Till date no officer from BPCL has contacted me to resolve the same. The complaint no. Is 164412.
The details of the complaint are as under:
Had approached Kamadhenu Gas agency to transfer the gas (Consumer No. 7174) in my name as I had lost my mother. The gas agency asked me to submit the certain forms for which I was given the format as I had lost the SV Voucher. The Forms I was asked to submit were - the KYC, Annexure – D (affidavit on Rs. 20/- stamp paper, and the 3rd was Loss of SV affidavit on Rs. 20 /- stamp paper plus 3 photographs and an attested death certificate
Hence, on Saturday, 11th of December 2016, I got the forms e-stamped and notarized and submitted them to kamadhenu Gas Agency . During this point of time I was told to cough up Rs. 1600/- towards name change. When I questioned them, and mentioned that I will speak to the HO they amount invariably came down. I was then told to cough up Rs. 435/- (they mentioned to me that this was the advance subsidy paid to my mother on November 2014) plus Rs. 350 /- towards name change, blue book and folder. They told me that the name change would take 3 days and the amount should be paid then.
When questioned, they said I could speak to the local sales officer of BPCL and he is aware of the same. Isn’t it really surprising that any company pays an advance subsidy to the customer? Are we being cheated? If so, all other companies like HP should have had the same policy? Please note that my cousin had transferred his mothers HP gas cylinder to his name...he did not have to pay a penny.
I would like you to call me and resolve the same. Was this information helpful? |
