This is with reference to the provisional interest (penalty) applied on our flat cost.
We purchased the flat in dec 2022. At the time of purchase I was on notice period in my previous organization. this means that my full and final payment and so the pay slip will come in feb 2023. I had joined the new company in jan 2023 and some delay was expected in getting my first salary and hence the salary slip. Due to non available of salary slips for last 2 months, bank loan would be dalayed. I was aware about this situation and request sales team to co-operate for the same. Sales team gave me assurance that they will take care of it.
We managed to disburse the loan on 26th feb, last date was 8th Feb. We took rustomjee's banker service to avail the loan.
We had submitted all the necessary documents to rustomjee for the bank loan on 25th January 2023 and requested them to disburse the loan amount before 7th feb.
Unfortunately, even after paying Rs.10, 000 as a processing charge, the Central Bank of India's disbursement process was so slow that they took more than 20 days to inform us that the interest rate of 8.70% would be applicable to us instead of 8.15%. So, based on Rustomjee's banker's suggestion, we moved with HDFC Bank and the loan got disbursed within 3 days that is on 26th Feb.
During this entire process, Rustomjee's banker had assured us that no penalty would be applied as we had very little role to play for the delay. Was this information helpful? |
