We initially paid around £2500 for a week every year in goa, with a yearly service charge of £120 each year. We were also romised that the company could provide us with discounted air fares. Initially, the first visit, we came to the knowledge that the discounted air fares were a scam, we were better off doing it independently. No massive deal, though it was part of the deal that ended couraged us to buy.
12 years on and on a recent visit, we have found that goa has become very popular with indians, which is great. Unfortunately, this now means that their is a massive increase in accommodation need. I would appreciate the fact that there would be a small yearly increase in service charges, but it now sits at just under £900. I suggest that they are encouraging us to give up our membership, as there is now a local market. Classic supply and demand.
You can get decent accommodation for a fraction the price.
