Till last month I had been consuming water nominally only as the water supplied from local bore well aws contaminated with yellow dust. For some time the source was not used at all and hence the water meter did not show any consumption. But the KWA representatives who visited for recording the meter reading had been wrongly mentioning Not Working status. When I brought the fact to their attention they asked me to consume minimum quantity at least. This was being continued.
Two or three years back a bulk amount was wrongly collected from me, and when complained the excess collected was being adjusted from subsequent bills. Till last month such credit was available.
Surprisingly this month I am charged Rs. 2722/- treating the meter was faulty in the past considering the consumption is the latest summer months as average consumtion.
My water meter has never been faulty or not working. For some months it did not show any reading only because I was not consuming at all as the water has been and still is contaminated with yellow dust.
Kindly rectify the mistake and draw bill for actual use only
