I donated to Kokan Kala va shikshan Sanstha once and that was enough to trigger calls from random numbers saying they are from the organization (not sure if its true or not). They constantly call, emotionally blackmail and push you to donate by sending photos of patients (especially babies) in the hospital.
I cannot start my day with these photos and so many people somehow having my number and sending me unwanted messages. I did not subscribe to anything like notifying me when a donation is required, but I am still pushed to read about cases, directly on whatsapp, and now I am tired of blocking these calls and texts.
