I am. Enjoying my sunday at home at dum dum cantonment and i happen to receive the below sms from kolkata traffic police:
Wb01y3815 has been prosecuted for without helmet, at narkeldanga main road/canal west road/, at 10:11 hrs vide case no - crtw667092/18 dated 29-jul-18 amounting to fine of rs. 100/-. Non payment of fine would result in initiation of court process. Just immagine the amount of money these corrupt public servants are making by extorting the citizens.
In earlier cases i made payments even knowing that i have never ever been to those areas but since the case dates were several years back i was not sure.
But this time it is caught red handed.
I spoke to the traffic control room, they won't help, keep passing the buck and told me to complain to dc traffic through emai, which i have did.
But i want justice and and end to this corruption. Please help.
