I purchased a energy meter from KV power, but i took it for testing for MRT, they didnt approved it, so asked KV power that i am sending it back. In this process, i just cut the tape opened the box it was shown to department and when they didnt approve i just put the meter in same box which i received from them and applied tape again and sent it through courier back to them,
they are saying they received a meter in damaged condition, and packing was not proper. but if the packing was not proper they have not mentioned anything on courier while accepting the meter from courier and trackon courier first reports to us if packing is damaged. and secondly it was the same packing which was provided to me by KV Power, that too it was not the original packing of the meter, they had sent me meter in different box, may be its a used one which doesnt have protective thermocol or foam cover to keep the meter in place. so it was their fault for not providing the meter in proper packing. It is obvious if the meter is of no use to me i will send it in the same packing which i receive.
first they were not giving me any response then after a week they replied they cannot pay, and the clip which is damaged which is not affecting the performance of meter, and its on the backside of the meter and cant be seen they can very well fix it with 5 Rs. fevi quick, It may also happen that i have received a damaged clip when i received it, i just opened the box showed it to department and sent it back to them, what is my fault in this? If they had sent me the meter in their original packing meter would have never failed.
Please help me to get my refund
