Subject: lg air conditioner complaint
Dear sir/ma’am,
My name is amit kapoor. I am a resident of delhi. I am writing to complain about the air-conditioner, which i bought from lg authorised showroom in lajpat nagar on 4th may 2016. (See the attached photocopy of the sales receipt).
at the time of purchase i asked for lg extended warranty for this product, but the showroom guys gave me bajaj amc. This air-conditioner was installed in my son, s bedroom on 6th may 2016. Just after 11 months it starts troubling. I called bajaj guys (As it is in bajaj’s amc) and they replace cooling coil. And again just after 3 months it’s troubling again this time it is compressor. I called bajaj guys and they told me that your ac compressor is faulty and it is in warranty, and lg will replace it for you. Then, i called lg company’s service representative, and asked him to exchange the faulty compressor for a new one. There attitude towards me was quite rude and unhelpful. Even though i pointed out that the compressor was in guarantee, they refused to provide a replacement. When i insisted that they do so, they claimed that lg was not responsible because bajaj guys installed local cooling coil that damaged the compressor! Then again i called bajaj guys, and they told me that cooling coil is not responsible for faulty compressor.
This tantrums is going from 01/sep2018 till date. I complain about it, and even my repeated requests for a replacement have fallen on deaf ears. I had written many emails to lg customer care. All that i got was a reassurance from them that they are looking into the matter. I have been running from pillar to post for last one month.
And now i am tired of it, therefore request you to kindly accept my complaint letter and file a case against the firm mentioned above.
I am looking for a favorable response.
