I have purchased 2H.P Submersible Pump from M.D.I.M. ENTERPRISES Lane No.10, Chaman Vihar, Dehradun on 5 Oct.2019 with Panel for Rs 14000/ (Fourteen Thousand Only)for construction of my house at Ram bagh Colony Dehradun. The quotation of pump was of Crompton Greaves, while the pump installed was of local Jindal Gold company. From beginning water pressure was low so I complained about this low pressure. The proprietor told me that the pressure will improve after using it for some days. The panel supplied with the pump was also of very inferior quality. After three months I had to purchase a new panel. The proprietor also charged Rs5000. (Five Thousand Only) for 5 year maintenance. Photocopy of receipt attached. The pressure of the pump is very less, not sufficient for construction purposes. I faced a lot of difficulty due to the low pressure of water. Telephonically intimated many times. At last, I had to send a registered letter to the proprietor for improving the pressure of the pump otherwise I have to file a complaint to consumer court. On receiving a letter and examining the pressure now he says that 3 H.P pump has to be installed to increase the flow of water. Since I have already paid the cost of an installed pump, 05-year maintenance charges and cost of panel total Rs 22100/(Twenty-two thousand one hundred only) are already paid and the cost of 3 H.P pump of Crompton Greaves pump is the same. The solution is to replace the existing pump with 3 H.P. Crompton Greaves pump without paying any additional cost as I have already paid Rs 165000/(One lakh sixty five thousand only) for borewell as well.
