Let's start with the management. At the time of admission the counselling and accounts management team is very active for the collection of fees. They make several fake promises for gaining the admissions. After some time they don't care of the student issues, they are then only concerned with the fees and the attendance. If the taught part is not clear they barely provide the backup for that topic. At the time of pandemic too, when the lockdown was imposed several students were stuck in different places. Very few had the resources and strong connection for the online classes. On sharing the issue, the faculty gave the revert, " that's not their problem they will not provide the backup, you need to manage and continue the classes." One of my friend had not the broadband connection, he went out to his friend's house living nearby for the online as his friend owns the broadband connection and was stopped by the police in the way and was beaten up by them. But these things won't concern to our respected faculty.
2- In the starting when I joined MAAC faculty was good, supportive, they try to help in the studies, project related problem even they guide students in their practical life too. But now things are opposite. They don't listen, they don't understand. Still there are number of students who attend the class and doesn't know the meaning of topic well. On asking the topic twice, or sharing of our incapability to understand so that they could help us on those, but reply we get is our faculty is giving their best it's your fault. We hesitate to ask the topics twice because of such replies.
3- Now let's talk about Internal Management. They expect the fees on time if not paid, they don't allow to attend the classes. But on the other hand they are incapable of performing their duties. In the starting the students were promised to have pen tablet allotted within 3 months. Pen tablet was provided after 1 year. Several students have yet to receive. And many were been told to bring the paper where it was written. Within 1 year of time period many students lost their counselling paper. Even I was not informed by the counsellor that the paper is important where she explained me about the functioning of MAAC and fees structure. It was my luck that I had that paper in the file.
I had a pending referral cheque, I was informed that as soon as the 40% fees will be paid by my referential student I'll receive the cheque. Its been more than 1.2 years of his 40% fees submission, I've been asking for the cheque. Faculty informs me that next month cheque will be issued then the next month they say next month and so on then lockdown was imposed, so I did'nt asked again. I needed the money so I asked my faculty yesterday for the cheque. Today they informed me " academy khulne do pehle." You're asking for the fees, you're accepting fees, you're not allowing students to attend the class if they are incapable of submitting their fees. But what of your in-capabilities? You have number of means to take the fees, but you don't have any mean to fulfil your responsibility towards us.
4- Let's talk about studies, In the starting of the lockdown I'd not available resources. I shared my issue with my respected teacher. He informed me he can't do anything regarding this. We won't provide the backup classes.
So I left the class. Sir/Mam, we're paying 3-4 lacks for not acquiring the knowledge? Is it so hectic to help with the topic twice or thrice. I've the authority to ask the topic one time two time even the 10th time. I'm paying my fees its not you who is paying. You have to pay attention on every student not on 3-4 students. It will be more beneficial for me to go with the tutorials, I could rewind it and have my doubts cleared number of times, even if I go with the paid tutorial, it will cost me half of your fees.
If you're promoting yourself of being an institute with attached professionals and excellence management. Atleast be 30% of it.
I'm not able to find the link to attach the call recordings of our conversation we had on sharing our issues. It's not only me, there are number of students who are facing these issues. They hesitate to tell, and I don't. If any higher authority is watching over my complaint, call the students randomly, ask them if they are facing any issue regarding the software. Is there something lacking by your hand. (whether its management, or topics). That will atleast show that you care for the services for which you're taking the amount.
