I did a round trip booking from Bangalore - Kolkata and return at Make my trip.com. I always check multiple times before confirming any online booking. To my surprise and shock, when I got the booking confirmation, the dates were simply swapped. The return journey from Kolkata to Bangalore was shown as the onward journey and vice versa.I reached out to make my trip agent as well as registered the complaint on their web site.

They assured me that they will look into this issue on prior it and share with me the log files of my booking. If the mistake is made at their end, they will reimburse me the penalty (incurred during cancellation of the wrong booking) as well as do the fresh booking for me without any addl. cost.
I have been following up with them for almost 10 days now, have done multiple escalations on their web site but am yet to get the Log file. They told me the wrong booking was done by me but they have not shared the log file to provide the evidence.
To me, this delay in sharing the details and not being transparent is like hiding the facts and cheating the consumer. It appears, they are trying to make money first through (wrong) bookings, then through cancellations and again through fresh bookings.
