With reference of subjected booking ID NL[protected], true that we were contacted by your management and we were asked not to cancel our bookings as they said they will get the required changes for us as it was the mistake done by the executive while booking and they asked us to wait for sometime till he reverts back to us... After a continuous follow up for almost a months time the concern manager said that the changes cannot be made and that we will get the refund. This was informed to us on 10th October 2015, and then he was suppose to get back to us with the details of refund, which have not received till date.
What the manager did was just borrowed time from us so that they can calm down the escalated issue. Now nobody is even bothered to revert back to us for the Make My Trip side.
I had inquired at the local office and also with other online agents from MMT after this issue took place and they had clearly mentioned that no bookings can be done for the international travel unless they have the details of the travelers in a proper format with the copy of the passports. The people at the local office in my city showed me a form that is required to be filled by the traveler and only after that the booking is initiated for the air tickets. Even the same is forwarded by the online agents seeking the information of the traveler. No such form was sent to me nor any mail for confirming my name and details was sent from my side. Then why did the agent dint send me that form and how did that agent booked my tickets without taking my details. I have all the recordings and mails to justify the above thing.
Today because of that agent I have lost my money and nobody is replying on the refund part, infact their system is showing me that there is no refund to be made in my case.
I would request the consumer forum to help me get my money back.
