I tried making a hotel booking on 14th august, the booking was not confirmed and the charges Rs. 10398/- where deducted from my account.
I was told that there was some error in the payment gateway and the amount that I was charged will be refunded in 72 working hours. first complaint reference id[protected]
Now its been one week and there is no refund. When I again contacted make my trip they asked me to email my bank statement.
Now I don't understand why they need the bank statement.

The money debited from my account is credited either in their account or the payment gateways account.
The payment gateway provider is that third party and is the service provider of make my trip.
They can get all the details they want from the payment gateway.
The executive that I spoke to Priyanka Duggal, was not ready to help me in any way.
When I asked her to transfer the call to her senior (Tilak Raj. Supervisor) she said that the senior was not available.
When I asked her to transfer the call to the next available senior she said that all of the seniors are not available.
I find it hard to believe.
She was not able to give me any reasonable answer on how and when would my money would be refunded.
In fact she couldnt confirm if my money would be ever refunded at all.
