Hi,
I had initially made a booking (MakeMyTrip Booking ID: NF[protected] but had called MakeMyTrip to cancel one passenger's tickets (Niveditha Murthy). I received a message that my request was fulfilled.
I was able to board the flight to Kochi on Jul 9th, but for some reason, my flight back on Jul 13th was canceled and neither MakeMyTrip nor, SpiceJet, had intimated me of the same! I had to purchase a new ticket from SpiceJet directly at the Kochi airport to Hyd and was promised by both companies that I'll be reimbursed for the same later.
It's been over a month since I've been trying to get this issue resolved and get back the Rs 8, 002 + taxes that I had paid, but neither SpiceJet nor MakeMyTrip has taken responsibility for this, despite agreeing on email, that I did not authorize the cancellation of my ticket.
I'm escalating this issue to all possible corners of the Internet and hope that both companies will accept their mistake and refund me money.
