Greetings,
This is specific to the booking which I had made with Lemontree hotels, HYD on 31st Jan 2016.
After booking, I had initiated the cancellation for this booking within a few hours.
The website had an option of cancellation which I initiated. After waiting for about a week, the Make my trip website claims that I will not receive any amount back whatsoever.
I am quite shocked as this was not clearly outlined on website. Upon calling makemytrip, I am told that it was at the discretion of the hotel as they might have received the payment already.
I humbly request a refund back for the amount which I have made for the following reasons :-
1) There is no service offered to me for the amount of 6963 Rs I have made.
2) If there is no money being offered, what does cancellation mean?
3) On the website it says you can cancel you booking by logging on to the Customer section of our website. This is exactly what I did.
This is hard earned money which we have used on the site. Personally for me this is the second negative incident with Makemytrip and I reach out to you for your help. Was this information helpful? |
