I refer to Booking ID NN2A9L3L[protected].
On 22 Aug, I paid Rs. 5, 17, 864 via Netbanking for return tickets between Mumbai and London. The money was immediately deducted from my account, however the booking failed a few moments later and no flight ticket or PNR was generated.
The failed booking has been acknowledged by MMT, and I was assured by their customer service reps that my refund had been auto-initiated and would be paid into my account in 24-48 hours. This estimate of course kept increasing, and a full week later I find myself with neither a ticket nor a refund.
Similar to the experiences of other MMT customers on this site, the reps keep telling me to wait for my refund, and then to wait some more. They constantly claim on email that they were trying to call me--a claim I'm beginning to doubt as not even a missed call from them has ever registered on my phone.
In response I've asked them to simply email me with their update, only to be met with utter silence from them. If they had no update, why were they allegedly trying to call me?
Their behaviour has become very worrying and I'm panicking that my money has disappeared with no ticket in sight.
If an MMT rep is reading this, please kindly get in touch with me. This is a sizeable sum and a full week later there has been no progress on the refund situation--a refund that is rightfully mine as the attempted booking failed at your end. Was this information helpful? |
