Hi,
Today i visited manjeera mall to purchase some item but i didn't get it. So to avoid bike parking charge, i took a soda (Zeera) & i am charged rs.40 for it where we can get it for rs.15 outside. When i asked for bill, he gave me bill for 30rupees. I questioned it and he told me saturday & sunday they will charge rs.40. I thought manjeera mall management is stealing money from the people and took it lite.
When i go to parking area, tolgate girl asked me for rs.20 even i showed them my bill. She told we should purchase more than rs.100 to skip parking fee. I told her i was there for only 20 mins & you can check my time also. But she seriously said that i should pay rs.20 & time doesn't matter. I didn't want to argue because big line was there behind me & paid rs.20.
When i came outside the thought was rotatating in my mind. By luck, i have a seen a woman in black coat and asked to tell me the proper way to complaint about above. She was really shocked about both incidents and she was ready to come with me and ask about the incidents.
When we went to parking area, the tolgate girl looked at me with impatience. When she saw the officer, she was shocked and immediately stood and told her billing machine is not working so she couldn't provide the bill.
The officer said, you should not charge if he purchased something. If you don't know you should have to give him bill. Immediately that girl returned my rs.20 and said sorry. The officer warned her and apologized me for inconvenience.
I requested her to take an action on for soda incident and i left with gratitude.
Friends, here the main thing is we are already paying twice amount comparing to outside. If we do not ask bills, it will be 3 or 4 times soon. My friend said in some malls, employees them selves form a gang and doing these kind of illegal things. The amount is shared by all as per their role. So please do not hesitate to ask bill or complaint to management about extra bills and about not giving receipts.
It may not be burden to you and me but it may be burden to somebody and we should not encourage illegal things as citizen.
By the way i requested the officer do not take sevior action or eliminate the employee. Just take an action to not repeating the incident. So no need to think about parking girl or soda boy. 😋
