I brought a Maruti Wagon R (VXI) Private Use Car from Bhandari Automobile, Kolkata(Gariahat) in last year (Sep, 2015) and the made CAR Insurance with ICICI Lombard. my Car Insurance is expired on 26th of Aug, 2016. and i was issue a cheque in favour of Bhandari Automobile for renewal of my said policy on last week of July, 16 and the same was cleared on 12th Aug, 16...but till today i did not get my policy documents from Bhandari...
in last Sat (20.08.16) i communicated with them and after my communication they initiate to process my Renewal of Car Insurance policy and assured that i will get the policy documents after 1 day of tele-verification, (tele-verification was completed on the same day...20.08.2016. but why they wait for my communication whereas my cheque was cleared on 12.08.16.
and now from today i dont have any valid policy documents to run my car...
pls take n/a process in this regards

First you send a notice on available address & ask for relief's you want. Don't forget to mention that if they fails to comply then you will be constrained to file consumer complaint. Send notice by speed post. Keep track of Postal receipt. If Opponent failed to comply then you can move to consumer court where opponent has office. In case you have done transaction online then you can file your complaint in your areas district forum if yours demand is below 20 Lacs. If above 20 Lacs you need to file the same complaint before State Commission.
