I had travelled to Europe from 14.06.15 to 06.07.15 with Matrix cellular service, Matrix no[protected], Account code 924911 .The SIM card was provided to me by Mr Devendra Sharma, ( Mob no [protected]) at my residence 48 hrs before my departure after collection of requisite documents like photocopy of visa, credit card etc. The service was perfect during my travel at Europe.
Surprisingly less than 24 hrs before my departure for Europe, one unknown person came to my house in my absence and left a matrix sim card on our dining table with a verbal instruction that the requisite documents like photocopy of my visa, credit card should be sent to matrix office. This was totally unexpected because one sim card had already been supplied by Mr Devendra Sharma, for which confirmation had been sent.No confirmation was sent to the second SIM card.
On return from Europe, I had returned both the SIM cards to the messenger from Matrix
I found from my credit card statement that money has been deducted by Matrix on thrice as follows.
1. Dated 07/07/15 amount Rs 978.88
2. Dated 07/07/15 amount Rs 2915.88
3. Message received from Standard Chartered Bank on 06/08/15 amount Rs 749.54
I have received two emails so far from Matrix as follows
1.Bill dated 31 July, 15;Bill period 30 June -29 July, 15 Itemised 30/6 - 05/7, amounting Rs 849.54
2. Bill dated 30 June, 15, Bill period 30th May to 29th June, amounting Rs 2915.88.
On enquiry from the office, of Matrix I was told that the deductions made from credit card for the period for the month of June and for the month of July are as mentioned at serial no 2 and 3 above of the deductions communicated by Standard Chartered Bank .
Now the question is that how the amount of Rs 978.88 has been deducted ? I was told by Matrix Cellular international Services office that it is against the usage of the second card. This is amazing since firstly the second card was not asked, no confirmation was sent, and the card was lying at home unutilised.
The matter has been communicated to Matrix cellular International services pvt ltd through telephone on 08.08.15 .I was assured that corrective measures will be taken within 24 hrs although I am yet to receive any communication except a computer generated message.
To me at the moment the financial loss is secondary. I am only upset to find that the company i.e. Matrix Cellular International Services is being proved to be true about its reputation of harassing consumers with unauthorised fraudulent charges. Was this information helpful? |
