Wrong promise provided by the sales person at the time of purchase.
Hidden and confusing tariff structure.
False advertisement that they are cheaper infact they are exorbitantly high.
My bill should have been Rs.3000/- instead it is Rs.1, 10, 000/- !!!
They charge Rs.180000/- for 5GB data pack that is Rs.3800/- easily available in Dubai to anybody.
I took a post paid sim for Dubai with 1 GB data pack
1. I wanted a prepaid number with data services but sales guy pushed for post-paid sim saying that data services are not available on prepaid and there would be no data available after a data pack finishes on the post-paid sim hence no need to worry.
2. Their mobile service provider in Dubai called "DU" has a consumer protection policy that is one data pack exhausts the data service will stop. This they have clearly mentioned on their website as well as i have written confirmation from "DU" via email.

Now what master cheat aka MATRIX do is...
3. They did not activate 1 GB data instead first 100 MB data pack.
If a customer consumed less than 100 MB data, Matrix would pay for 100 MB to their service provider while charging for 1 GB from the customer.
5. Then they activated 5 GB data pack that it bypasses the consumer protection policy of their service provider and the customer would fall in the trap o[censored]sing more than 1 GB data.. so that can charge the customer "Pay per use" ...
Now while matrix pays their service provider AED 200 (approx. Rs.3800/-) (for additional 5 GB data) but they can charge approx. Rs.38, 000/- per GB i.e. Rs.1, 80, 000/- for something that is Rs.3800/- only.
6. I have planned to
a) approached Vigilance Department of Department of Telecom (DoT) requested them for a meeting.

b) I have consulted an advocate in supreme court, and i reaching out to as many cheated customer to bring this matter to public knowledge.
c) I have written to Zee TV and NDTV who regularly do coverage on cheat companies.
Will not spare them. Will spend this money to fight it out and spread the word about them but not give them a rupee of my hard earned money. Was this information helpful? |
