Dear All, My Name is Shameer and am from Kerala.I have a policy with max newyorklife(6 year premium)which was taken in 2011 and the policy number is[protected] .The complaint on them is I had payed 3 years premium of 300000 i.e 100000 per annum for 3 years. When I got to know that the lock in period is 3 years I went to the vanchiyoor branch and asked about my fund value and they told me that there is no fund value on this type of trditional policy.when i asked them to surrender for policy they told me that the surrender value will be the 30% of the premium excluding the first premium amount; would be applicable which was not told at the issue of the policy and they said I would now be getting nothing...I realise that am in big danger because now I lost my job and my father is fully paralysed due to an accident.Then I thought why to lose the big amount and please join me in screwing this fraud company and I will go to the consumer court and ombudsman and fight the case.
