Moto Showroom — phone is in warranty but they demanding for money

I have moto phone i purchase on 22.04.2017. Phone has one year warranty, but when i went to showroom of moto they demanding for money. They told that your phone has scratches so we can't repair that but i can't understand that what is the connection between battery and scratches. They demanding for rs.2500 for new battery but why can i spend money for new battery when my phone is in warranty.

So please be take a legal action on moto showroom.
