I was looking for personal/business loans for my startup & got a call from mudra finance ([protected]) saying it’s from head office & are willing to provide loan of 5Lakhs & asked for my documents, I sent my documents on the same number’s whatsapp & after 2hours I received a call stating I’m eligible for the loan & got a pdf which held information of me applying a loan & it said I’ll have to pay 3, 153/- registration fee to the provided mudra loan account upon which I’ll receive the mentioned loan amount. I paid the amount & later as he said I received a mail saying I’ll have to pay 17, 000/- more to receive my money as “RBI HAS WITHHELD THE PAYMENT BECAUSE I’ve never made a transaction of 5Lakh rupees”
I denied paying the amount & asked him to refund 3, 000/- he refused to do so & said he neither can process the loan nor can refund the money. Kindly look into this matter.
