Multilevel Parking DAPS, AAI, IGI Airport — Heavy Penalty for Loss of Parking Ticket

1. On 7 Jun 15, I parked my car at the DAPS, AAI Multilevel Parking facility at Terminal 3 and went inside the terminal to see of my son and parents going abroad. I took one & half hour to return (I am a pilot and have a Airport Entry Pass) 2. I lost my Parking Ticket during this period. Next one hour I spent in searching for the ticket since the display board said Charges of Rs 1200 will be levied as penalty for loss of parking ticket 3. The staff at DAPS authenticated the ownership of the vehicle, the duration for which it was there using the CCTV. 4. Despite the authentication, they charged Rs 1200 since it is their local Rule 5. My complaint is (a) Are they authorised to create a rule to be able to charge 10 times more money as penalty even after verifying.
