Today I and my mother had to travel from Andheri station to international airport. We came out and went to board an auto but then this group of 4-5 rowdy drivers hounded us into going with one of them. One of them quoted a rate of 150/- which we refused and went back to the first auto we had approached. But again these ppl literally took our luggage and threw it into one other auto saying he will take us by meter. Auto No. MH02EQ However when we got to the airport he demanded the same rate of 150/-. He started fighting and ultimately we had to pay the said amount. This is nothing less than BULLYING and FORCED FLEECING by a cartel of dishonest men! Moreover this man was driving very fast and rashly, not paying heed to traffic rules. Such people should be dealt with severely as they are not only CHEATING people themselves but also discouraging other honest drivers through their hounding. They literally force the passengers not to go with people not part of their dishonest group. The person who took us was a fat man wearing a jataa and tilak like a PANDIT but behaving like a GOON! Seemed to be the leader.
