I am a resident of dda flats ground floor in sukhdev vihar area. These flats are over 35 years old. Our building specifically has a history of sinking foundation. The new owner of the third floor flat (Flat no. 210) is undertaking construction on the terrace - something that has become a norm in almost all buildings. We hve out water tanks on the terrace and will b e deprived of any access to the terrace once they encroach that area. When a similar construction was happening in other verticals, we raised it to mcd but no action has been taken (Flat number 207, 208, 209 of piocket b) all have complete sets constructed that have been rented out. Instead of taking action on them, mcd and delhi police threatened us. While we are discouraged to go to mcd and be intimated and insulted again, we wish to raise the issue here. Bjp's leadership boasts of clean governance while its elected representatives at sdmc do not demonstrate the same.
