Address: New Delhi, Delhi |
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to draw attention of the local authorities towards the nuisance caused by the stray animals on the street roads through your Forum. I shall like to request you to forward the following matter to the concerned officer:These days’ streets of Delhi have become a virtual grazing ground for stray animals, specially the cows, during the day time. Repeated requests to the local authorities to save the people from this nuisance have so far fallen on deaf ears.Recently, a stray cow had knocked down a woman when she was returning from vegetables market. In a similar incident, a 60 year old man received injuries when a cow knocked him down. These animals not only block the traffic, quite often they hit the people and cause panic when they start fighting with each other. This is over and above the dirtying of the roads because of them. You are therefore requested to instruct the concerned staff to launch stray animals catching drive in the locality. Such drives are needed frequently to get rid of the problem. Please catch them and take away these stray animals and rid us of this nuisance.
