Dear Sir(s),
National Institute of Plant Genome Research, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi is an Autonomous Institution of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
We have a situation of stray dogs menace in our campus. There are lot of stray dogs loitering in the campus and incidents of dog attack on children and dog bits have also been reported. Its difficult for residents to pass by them, and people are forced to avoid coming through that area. These dogs keep urinating and excreting in the front of houses, student hostel and entire campus, also opening the garbage bins & spreading the stinking trash all around. We fear this will invite any illness.
These dogs are not only dirtying the entire campus but also keep on barking day and night, thereby disturbing the peace of campus. The children are afraid to step out of their houses.
It is therefore requested to take appropriate measure/action so that we can get rid of these dogs.
An immediate action shall be highly appreciate.
Yours sincerely,
(SANDEEP DATTA)
