With respect to swimming, we face a lot of problems. Firstly, the whole month of April 2013 - swimming was not opened to public. In May when they starts after a few days, daily dip as per rules and regulations was not allowed.
Then we got information that daily dip will be allowed from 15 May. Even though all forms had been filled and submitted, daily dip card was not issued. Even slip was not issued against form submitted. Office people told us that we can approach swimming pool officials and our name will be registered based on the form submitted. But in the evening (when swimming time was due but office was closed) the pool officials denied entry asking for a receipt from the office. They also did not allow us to escalate the matter to the manager stating he does not carry mobile (he gave landline no. But at 6 pm offices are closed).
There is no co-ordination between pool officials and office an the office seems to be very slow in processing cards, arbitrary in following regulations (delaying start of pool, not allowing daily dip as pe regulations, not issuing slips/ receipts after taking form).
Even last yeAr in 2012 swimming was delayed by 2 months. It is surprising that even though the pool is closed for most of the year, they start tenders and bids for the same only in the month of April or may when summers start and even children's school holidays start.
