Myntra.com is doing everything possible to harass and cause extreme difficulties for the customer. I am a frequent buyer of Myntra for almost the last 10 years. On December 7 I placed an order through this app. There was no notice of suspension or any warning or cancellation from this site while making the transaction, my money got debited and I even received a message that the order is successfully placed.
From December 11, all my access to this application has been suspended when the order was still open. I received the products but as my access is blocked to this application I am not able to check whether I have been receiving the original and all products or the app is trying to befool the customer by sending some wrong products. I could not check all the products I have received yet, but there is already a product mismatched with the original order I placed.
I called up on December 7 the Customer Care and they informed me that there may be a technical issue that will be resolved within 24 hours.
When almost all the products of this order were delivered to my place, I received an e-mail from the company that the account is suspended due to some violation of rules. There was no intimation about this suspension when I placed this order.
If they intended to suspend my account, they could have canceled the transaction when placing the order. Instead, they took the money from the customer, after that revoked all my access to the site to check the details like item price, delivery time, and return window.
When I purchased the product all the products were bought under the 30 days return/exchange policy. It's my consumer right to be enabled to avail of this offer. Even in the mail they sent, it is written to call customer care for any request for open order, but customer care is not taking any exchange/return requests. The only party which should be considered fraudulent here is Myntra itself.
Now coming to Myntra's terms and conditions:
None of the points are matching with any of my transactions. I would like to ask Myntra to be very transparent about which category my account has been suspended. It's also my right to get proper justification why my account has been suspended.
In my last order, I placed a number of items. All were for personal usage and there were no multiple orders of the same item. There was no warning from the site about the maximum number to be ordered. Not even they have canceled the product as they have mentioned in their rule that they may cancel a bulk order. Instead, they have placed the order, snatched the money from me, and deactivated my account!! What a horrible service. Had I given this business to any other portal, I could have at least gotten some voucher or credit points. The great Myntra has suspended my account as a reward after stealing my money!!!
Myntra's rule:
"Myntra may cancel any order that classify as 'Bulk Orders'/'Fraud orders' under certain criteria at any stage of the product delivery."
As per their rule, they may cancel an order for any bulk practice, not eating up the money and not providing the return/exchange benefit to the customer as promised before placing the order.
I would request the consumer forum to intervene in this matter and solve this issue.
1. I want a clarification from Myntra why my account is suspended as I could not find any of my transactions violating the rule.
2. I want to know the process of return/exchange of the products if required as their rules were applicable when I made the purchase.
