Myntra.com — ecraftindia - handcrafted bird shaped wall clock

Had ordered for the ecraftindia - handcrafted bird shaped wall clock, which was defective product. Placed a return request. There was no one who came to pick up the product. After waiting for 2-3 days contacted myntra. They informed me that this product has to be self shipped to the nearest myntra place and that details they mailed me after i inquired about it. That's not all.

Post that i went to courier guy to get the product shipped. The courier guy refused to take it saying it is clock which has glass and can be damaged, hence they cannot take it. Called up myntra again and informed them about the challenge. What a solution they provided, they said we cannot do much, you will have to self ship the product, try with another courier.

I kept cool and thought of trying again with another courier person. The response was the same. And they said none of the courier will accept this product for delivery, only blue dart might possibility and charge accordingly.

Oh again called up myntra and shared the concern with them. Spoke to their escalation manager twice. But all waste. These guys do not understand the issue in the first place, how can you expect a solution from them.

Inspite of i sharing the concern that the courier guys are not ready to accept and deliver the product, myntra lead provides solution saying we understand your problem and the solution is try again with another courier and they do not have any other option where they can arrange for the pick up.

In short it means you keep trying wasting your time to self ship the product and then at a point get frustrated and leave it.in that case the refund money would be lost and you will have to forgo it - reason you will get from myntra would be
1. You did not self ship the product - although you have highlighted the concern to them but myntra is not interested in understanding it.
2.in all this bargain time would have lapse and then your product return would not be applicable.

So in short win - win for myntra and loose - loose for the consumer.

You need to be really careful while choosing myntra products. They say return and refund is not a challenge, but your experience will say there is nothing but only challenge and challenge.

The Myntra representative called and apologized for the front end team not able to address the concern.
And has assured to arrange for a pick up as an exception .

I am happy with the Myntra team working on the escalation, it was indeed prompt and quick response from their head office escalation team.
