Hi I have ordered a blue blazer from Myntra which I received on 28th of Feb 2020 and because of size issue I have placed a return request on 28th of Feb 2020 at night hours . On 2nd March 2020 a pick up person of Myntra had collected the blazer from me. Immediately after the pickup guy left with the returned product I was trying to check my app when will I be refunded for the same and while checking it I have seen that while putting a return request I have selected my 4-5years old salary account number which was not been closed . Immediately without wasting time I called Myntra customer service and have spoken to MANSI named lady . I have escalated the matter to her she had promised me and have given 100% assurance that the money won't be initiated to my old salary account no and however will be transferred to my new account number . I asked her is the refund initiated she had said that because the pick up person had collected the product on that day itself so there would be some quality check after that it would take around 3-4days to initiate the refund process and she will be updating my account no and will certainly be initiated to my new account no. Right during the call she have shared an email where she asked me to fill all details of my new account no and immediately I have sent her reply on the same email with all updating account name and number. I have Attached a screenshot of her email. Also I have shared a screenshot of my revert email.
On the very next day that is on 3rd March 2020 i have called Myntra again at the morning hour so that to reconfirm that my new account no has been updated. But the reply i got from that person was really disappointing. He said that my refund had been initiated to my old account no not the new one. when I asked the reason he said it's been automated process and thus been refunded to my old account no.
Now again while narrating the whole story of mine. again the representative has given me confirmation that the refund will be initiated to my new account no and not to worry about that. and he gave me assurance that someone from their team will be calling me back. I received a call from PIYUSH from escalation team he literally started saying me that it's an automatic process of their app and they have selected the old account no. And will not be able to help me . Now while narrating the story again he said his team as in the lady Mansi had given me wrong information so they wont be able to help me.
Now If that lady would have told me in the first call that selecting the account no is an automatic process then I would have asked them to credit in my myntra credit so that I can use it afterwards but No she had fooled me saying " dont worry maam I assure you to transfer the refund in your new account no, please share your new account details on the email which I have shared with you" . And afterwards everyone started saying me it's the wrong information given by our team we apologise .
They are trying giving me reference no of SBI ACCOUNT that was my salary account which might have now converted to savings account because of non closure any which ways I am not going to get that money. Additionally I have to run to banks to ask them . Simple things could be done if she wouldn't have given me the wrong information and fooled me and making my job cumbersome.
Piyush, Mansi, Sagar sukhla being in a so called escalation team doesn't have manners to talk to a angry customer. They were asking me to shut up and let them speak. Is this the service a regular customer get ?
