20 june, 2019: i claimed 1999 insider points to get a myntra gift card shopping voucher worth rs. 1000. I received a confirmation email about the same.
21 june 2019: i tried to apply the gift voucher along with the pin to my shopping cart, however, i kept received an error that the voucher has already been used. The specific error message is: "gift card has already been added to user a*y*m*r*[protected]@gmail.com."
23 june 2019: i raised a complaint with the myntra customer care and the ineffective people monitoring the mailbox simply did not understand the issue and kept giving me irrelevant resolutions. Incident# in[protected].
28 june 2019: i called up the myntra customer care team at around 4:00 pm and spoke to a person named manish. I spoke to him for about 30 minutes, and he was the only one who understood and investigated the issue. He assured me that his manager would call me back. He acknowledged was that this is a technical issue from myntra and explained the issue as follows:
Basically, another person by the name acy hmer (Or something similar to that) with the contact number [protected] from tripura, also enchased his insider points for a gift voucher worth rs. 1000 at around the same time that i enchased my coupons.
The representative confirmed that this is not a fraud case and is a technical issue wherein somehow one gift voucher was generated for two separate customers and he assured me to have this fixed in 24 hours. It’s been 10 days since i’ve spoken to manish and 18 days since i encashed my insider points. I am stuck with a gift voucher code that i cannot use and the insider points also haven’t been refunded as yet.
3 july 2019: when i lodged a complaint on their facebook page, they kept assuring me that this will be resolved in 24 hours but nothing has been done till date.
