I had ordered Tommy Hilfiger men's Navy blue casual sneakers on 13th February 2022 from myntra. It arrived on 18th Feb. I tried the shoes but due to fitting issues, I decided to exchange them with another size (Earlier, I had ordered size 9 and requested an exchange with size 10.5 inches). I requested for the exchange on that very day(12:35 PM). I did not misplace any tags or anything that came with the product. The pick-up was due Tuesday 22 Feb and the agent took that item and delivered another pair of sneakers of size 10.5 inches. The delivery guy delivered me the order but the condition of the box delivered was pathetic. The box was torn and shrunk to that level where the shoes (Even though they were not used) looked like some old pair of shoes with so much shrinking due to poor logistics. I felt bad after looking at the product, however, I was not ready to return the product because of the lengthy procedure they have set up for any transactions. But when I put on one of the shoes to see if it fits, I found it was too large of a size for me to use and hence I decided to return the item. I did not even go to put on and try the other shoe, Immediately I filed a return request and packed everything as it came and kept it aside, for the delivery agent to collect it on the very same day. (Tuesday 22 Feb). I called the delivery agent immediately and informed them that I have a return request and asked him for pickup, he said he would pick up the shoes the next day as he was occupied with another delivery, I said Okay and kept the call.
The delivery guy came the next day to pick up the order and take the item. After the message was sent on my mobile that the pickup was successfully completed I got another message the next day (24 Feb) saying my return request has been declined as it did not pass the quality check process.
I called up the customer care and the guys who answered did not help me answer my query then I spoke to the supervisor, but guess what the guy who spoke earlier was better than the supervisor, there was no help they just wanted to waste my time saying “I currently understand sir, we’ll take your feedback and talk to the delivery company, you’ll get he reshipment within 48 hours, wait for the reshipment we will try to solve it then”. And now why the hell would I do that when I don’t want that dirty product? What do you guys take a customer for? I have done shopping from other e-commerce sites and have never faced such a thing. What if you had sent a defective product? What then? I did not do a "quality check". If the product is undamaged then why on earth am I not getting my money? I want my money back! Stop duping people like this. I want a refund. They are asking me to accept the poor quality product again, which I don't want to accept.
What happened with me is totally unfortunate and unfair, at least myntra could have acknowledged their mistake. This is terrible. Please I urge the consumer forum to kindly help me to get a refund of Rs. 5, 162. Was this information helpful? |
