FYI - I have been a regular customer of Myntra since 2012 ( never changed my account)
I had ordered a ARROW SINGLE BREASTED SUIT of INR 5357 on 25 Oct 2021 and I got delivery of the same on 30 Oct 2021.
Suit was badly wrapped in a paper package without any proper shelf inside (please consider you have ordered a formal Suit). It looked old piece and it was also missing the trouser. I requested for return on 2 Nov 2021.
Pickup person came to my address on 3 Nov 2021 (same address where the delivery was made) and said he cannot pick it because the trouser is missing from the package.
I described the problem to Myntra support through Help Center and shared all the product images with price tags, brand tags and packaging etc. I got an email on 10 Nov 2021 saying the return request has been approved and the pickup will be done on 10 Nov 2021 itself. Pickup person came to my home on 11 Nov 2021 (same address as before) and said he need to send email to his manager about this trouser missing case in order to get appproval and he cannot pick the product right now. He also asked me to send photos of product on his mobile number (whatsapp) which I had shared.
Since then, every single day I am receiving an email saying 'Your return is out for pickup' and after a few hours, I am receiving another email 'Return failed' and we will try again. This is happening on every single day. I have raised several complaints to Myntra about delays in return pickup but nothing happened ( i have all call recordings). I had also talked to pickup associate and he kept saying he is waiting for his manager's approval on email (i have all call recordings). Suddenly my account got 'blacklisted' on 17 Nov 2021 for which I never received a clear reason (there was a list of possible reasons) [Incident: IN[protected]]. I can suspect that pickup executive kept entering reason of return failure as 'Wrong Address' which caused my account to get blacklisted. I had also informed this problem to Myntra helpcenter. Now they are saying they cannot process any return, refund for a blacklisted account. I am left with an old formal suit which I cannot wear or even return. It is a loss of INR 5357.
I don't want to transact with Myntra anymore but this is purely unethical to deliver a bad product and then Blacklisting the account. Or may be it is purely the pickup associate's fault that he entered wrong reason while marking as 'return failed' Was this information helpful? |
