I bought a Fabindia kurta but the color and fit were not proper, so I filed a return for the same the very next moment. However, my return request was rejected. I had only tried the kurta once and all the tags are intact, and the team did not provide any other details. They just mention that the tags were not there. I refuse to believe that because I had put it back in the packet and it was as it is. Had the tag not been present, how would the delivery person complete the return. And even if done, nobody from their team can provide me the exact details and the reason they did it. They keep repeating "sorry" and "tags not present". I want proof of the same, which I know they don't have because the product is as it is with all relevant tags attached.
Also in addition to the refund and return, I would also like to escalate the inconvenience caused and unprofessionalism by the team.

Ordered a women's mustard yellow kurta from Fabindia from Myntra (order#[protected]-0100101) delivered on January 4, and placed a return request on January 5, 2022.
The item was picked up the same day on 5th January, and later I was informed that the return was rejected. Upon inquiring with the customer care team, I didn’t get any reason or worthwhile response and the team only repeatedly said that they are sorry and the return was rejected because of the absence of a tag. There were no details and I refuse to accept that the tags were missing as I had placed the product as it is back in the packet and returned. The product was then marked as re-shipped because of quality issues.
Later when I requested a callback, the agent kept me on hold to check "details" and then hung up on me. I tried reaching out via mail but couldn’t find the valid mail ID as well.
I don't think anybody has any details about the quality checks, and they are simply avoiding it.
Please help.
