Dear Sir, I had purchase ‘Set of 3 Birde Melamine Tray Set - Multicolor A2’ from naaptol.com as per Order No. 9846989, Dtd. 12.07.2014, Total Cost was Rs. 448 (Rs. 349 + Rs. 99 was shipping charge). I had received the product on 25.07.2014. After opening of packing, I had found that one tray was broken (larger one) and I had complained about it to the customer care of naaptol.com on same day of delivery i.e. on 25.07.2014, complaint No. 6666166. A discussion was held on 30.07.2014 with the customer care of naaptol and they offer two options – (i) Refund of Rs. 100 to my napptol account which would be adjusted with my next purchase and (ii) their logistic would collect the broken tray and same shall be replaced by new one and in that case I need no extra charge. But as per cost of product refund should be Rs. 149 (at least). I liked the product and therefore I requested them to change the broken tray. I have called them several time and I was informed that single tray will not be replaced and therefore I have to replace total set. On 18.08.2014 they informed me that they have no courier service at my address (but they delivered it at my address) and therefore I have to send this product to them for replacement at my own cost which requires approximately Rs. 200 (as per weight). In that case I have a huge loss and same I informed them. I also said them that the product was damaged due to improper packing or due to mishandling. They informed me that they will take necessary action within 48 hours, i.e. within 20.08.2014 and they will call me accordingly. Till 25.08.2014 I had got no reply, so again I called them on 25.08.2014. On 25.08.2014 they said that they have nothing to do and I have to send the product at my own cost. I said them to refund the amount and now they have rejected to refund - even Rs.100 that they had offered. Again I informed about packing and forwarding but again they informed that they will call within 24 hours and till date I have got no call from them. Here only best solution was to sent a new tray by naaptol, but they created such situation that the total loss is to bear only by me. Now my naaptol account is showing against my complaint no. 6666166 as resolved and closed and I know nothing about this resolve. Here I want to inform one matter about other company who had returned me the full amount without any condition and only against my complain about the electronic product that was damaged during my handling on very first day.
