Ncs & Hofs — Fraud job offer

Sir, I got an email from NCS support team ([protected]@ncsshuto.in) on 01/07/2023 as I got a job offer as data entry operator in HOFS and a joining kit will be sent to you as soon as possible. I gave my address and phone number to them and they sent a kit to me. The kit reached to my nearest post office on 08/10/2001. They said the kit includes my offer letter, Joining letter and mobile phone and I only get a masala powder inside it. I had paid 1500Rs to my post office to receive that parcel on 10/07/2023. I contacted them and they said it was not their mistake but they will give refund to me within 24hrs. Until now (11/07/2023) I don't get any report about this. I believed that job application through a government portal is genuine and my details given to the website is safe. But this incident seriously affected my believe in government websites also. It is very shame. After I said about this scam I realized that so many people are undergone in the same situation before but they didn't complaint. So I realized that this scam is everywhere in India but no one taking any action against this. So please try to find the scammers and also don't allow such people to play with poor unemployed people.

Updated by awqr I got this boy's image from true caller and name as Amir Khan. I don't know it is his own number. While contacting in this number a lady will take the call. From now they didn't take my call. I think they blocked me and I try to call from another number they take the call and shut the call after knowing it is me.

Did you recieved mail saying regarding job offer before dispatch of mobile n all mail??
I actually called the below mentioned number.she gave the job details regarding this data operator.

In my experience this is fake. I got the mail and call from them.

Ok now I got tracking consignment number..where the parcel is coming..it's from delhi.let me send you the screenshot.did @awqr you got this message to registered pH number regarding consignment number??.did you tracked it??
I got same mail... They call me... I didn't lift the call after hearing this.

Good decisions. Actually i wrote this complaint according to my friend's experience recently. He was so eager to get a job and when he got this mail he didn't think twice. I warned him. But he said that this job offer came through government website so it cannot be a fraud. When he recieved this packet he completely disappointed. So, remember that our personal details giving to a website being robbed even if it is a government website. If no one take it seriously so many jobless people will robbed by these frauds. Since in our country getting a good job is very difficult and middle aged boys are always seeking for a job. Even if they being robbed by them they feel shame to say it, like my friend.
Same I also got the mail offering Data Entry Operator Job. I gave address and phone number. I got call from local pots office that kit is arrived and I need to pay rs 2000. I doubt and realized that this maybe scam. I called the number mentioned in the mail. And I deny to accept the parcel. Ana told post man to send it back.

I also received same mail for data entry operator, and kit has been arrived in post office. post office people are saying that you will have to pay 2000 rupees, then you will get this parcel, I refused to take the parcel and asked to return it. Number given in the mail [protected].

Hi did you respond to their 1st mail? or they simply send you the 2nd mail?
If we ignore the 1st mail will they even send you the 2nd mail?

how do they know your address. did you give them?

I also got the mail offering Data Entry Operator Job. I gave address and phone number. I received kit vivo company mobile and turmeric powder
