Dear Concern,
I Neha Pandey, have purchased a deal on 15th March, 2016, purchase Id-2660900, voucher id- NBJZEKVSXHGBKZ, paying Rs. 999 through my debit card (follow the trail mail). The deal was purchased for hair color in Angel Spa and Salon, Circus Avenue, Kolkata.
After that I tried on the mobile number of the merchant given in the coupon for 4 days continuously but it was switched off. Then on 24th of March when I again called on the said mobile number, the person picked up the call and said that they have not given any such offer on nearbuy.com as of now and they cannot accept the deal/voucher and also said not to come on the salon with such vouchers/deals etc. Now when I am trying to call on customer care of nearbuy.com, it is also not working.
Now I am feeling cheated by nearbuy.com as my money has been taken by nearbuy.com and the merchant is not accepting the deal, moreover customer care is also not working.
I am very much worried, how it can happen with such an international level online platform, that a deal is being posted on the site, money is being taken by me and the merchant is saying that they have not given such an offer and not accepting the dea/voucher. I am worried, is that any kind of online forgery started on Nearbuy.com (Groupon India).
Kindly assist me whether I will get back my money. As there is no source of contact as customer care is also not working, kindly assist me on the below mentioned mobile number.
Note: My husband has already lodged the complaint from his mail id: pankajpandey.[protected]@gmail.com, name Pankaj Pandey to [protected]@nearbuy.com. but no response from there.
