New Horizon Engineering College — Not refunding my admission fees

Had applied for admission to the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) program at New Horizon Engineering College for the academic year 2023 . During my interactions with the college administration, I was provided with varying and contradictory information regarding the fees structure for the course. Initially, I was informed that the fees for the first year were 2 lakhs, and for the remaining three years, it would be 2.3 lakhs. Consequently, I transferred 1 lakh rupees as the first installment of the fees.
However, after this payment was made, I received a call from the admission department stating that the management had decided to increase the fees to 2.3 lakhs for the first year and 2.5 lakhs for the remaining years. This sudden change in the fees structure was both unexpected and unacceptable.
In light of this discrepancy and the college's failure to provide clear and consistent information, I decided to cancel my admission and requested a refund of the amount I had paid. I submitted a formal letter of cancellation to the college, but their response was inadequate and did not address my concerns. Additionally, when I approached the college's accounts department seeking a refund, they refused to cooperate and declined my request, despite the fact that I had not officially enrolled in any courses or attended any classes.
