One of my friend hired an architect company for his flat renovation. He did not research much about the company and costs for the work.

The company he hired started procrastinating the work and the quality of work also turned poor after sometime.

My friend contacted the company md and complained about the situation. But, the situation did not improve. So, my friend asked for the return of advance payment but the company denied and said they will complete the work.

It's going to be 5 years but the work is still incomplete. My friend filled a complaint against the company and the court case is active in the court.

After sometime, my friend found that the company charged him 1.5x more money than the actual cost of the work.

The name of the company is nitin kohli home and architect is nitin kohli. Many court cases for fraudster are registered against him.

I do not want to get trapped by these fraud architects. Please help me by answering the question below.

Do a research on his projects, how much experience he/she has, do the same for other architects, it will help you decide cost of work.

I think you must do some market research on projects similar to yours to understand the cost for the work of an architect.

Make a list of architect and their charges for the similar project you have. Then compare the price that optimize your project.
