I am senior Citizen and 75 years old.On 114h February, I visited your office to file RTI in repect of Supertech ltd. I was asked to procure a challan from nearby office and deposit in Bank. Kala kendra Staff gave me three copies of challan for depositing the fees in the bank. One copy for Branch, one for Noida Authority and one for the depositor. Bank people returned my copy and retained Authority's copy for direct submission.
After depositing the fees I tendered RTI request, the lady on the counter asked for the copy of the challan. I asked her it is my copy and cannot handover to you and bank will submit u the copy directly. She did not agree and refuse to accept the RTI application unless copy of my hallan is enclosed. I asked her that I want to meet the incharge of Dak Section, she asked me to go to the Reception. Reception staff did not divulge the designation of the incharge. After long conversation, she said that OSD-1 is incharge of the dak section and issued me entry pass no. 479439 at 10.44 A.M.
I visited office of OSD-1 and found that he had not yet reached office. I waited for 20 minutes but he did not reach by then. I narrated the entire story of harassment to one of the employee in that department and he was helpful in getting X_roxed copy of my receipt.
My complaint is to the fact that 1.when there are three copies of the challan, then your office assumes that the visitor should go to the copier person and get its copy. If receipt is mandatory then why you people give four copies of the challan or provide copying machine at the dak counter.
(2) Are officers allowed to attend the office with a delay of more than 1.5 hours.
3. Staff at the dak section should be polite and helpful.
