Olx Autos — Second Hand Car Sale

Hi Team,

I am Wing Commander Sharwan Kumar Bhatia, former Air force officer received gallantry award for my services to Indian forces. I am 78 years retired senior citizen of India, resident of B 141, Oak Wood Estate, DLF City II, Gurgaon.

I was an owner of Toyota Corolla Altis bearing registered number HR26BH1764, Engine number 1ZZ3328113 and Chassis number MBJ53ZEE[protected] with registration date as of 07-Feb-2011. I sold this car to OLX Autos dated 13-Nov-2021 and it was advised to me that RC will be transferred to the new owner within 3 months from the date of handover (ie. 13-Nov-2021) of car to OLX Autos.

Its been more than 7 months now and with repetitive follow ups with OLX Autos team, they have not taken any action for RC transfer. I have been given a verbal communication from OLX Autos customer service that car has been sold to new buyer, however RC transfer process has been taken place as of yet. As per records the ownership is still in my name.

I am skeptical and worried with the situation as I do not have possession of the car and it can be used for any illegal activities. As a senior citizen of India, I dot not want to participate in such illegal activities.

OLX Autos team is not at all helpful and does not provide an update or assisting with RC transfer. There is not escalation matrix being followed by team as per regulatory requirement nor they do not have senior citizen specific customer service priority.

Hence, I would like to request RTO office to de-barred or de-register the said registration number from my name (HR26BH1764) and blacklist the car from any services.

Looking forward for a response and action againt OLX Autos team on this regard.
